Downer has recently entered an exciting phase as we embark on the new contract with Powerco as their Tier 1 Contractor in the Taranaki region. Under the leadership of our newly appointed Northwest Area Manager, we want the best Line Mechanics to join our close-knit team based in New Plymouth.

We are looking for experienced and qualified Line mechanics who can ideally work on faults (1 in 4) from the get-go. We offer great career growth opportunities, with industry‑leading equipment and a great team who look out for each other.

You will be responsible for the provision of quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis / rectification of all network equipment and installations while ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
