Job descriptionExcellent communication and problem‑solving skills A relevant qualification or relevant industry experience (essential) Sound knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions and electrical systems Good time management and the ability to prioritise – this is a very busy role Class 5, Forklift & WTR licences preferred but not essential – support for obtaining these licences is provided
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Bell Block, New Plymouth.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Maintaining accurate service records and documenting all repairs
- Communicating effectively with the rest of the team and customers
- Staying up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies
Requirements
