We're on the lookout for an experienced Line Mechanic to join our Energy Services team and help construct and maintain our overhead and underground electricity network.

Role Responsibilities

Installing and maintaining overhead lines and underground networks (up to 33kV)

Replacing poles, conductors, and other key electrical components

Operating electrical equipment both on the ground and at height

Planning and executing job tasks efficiently and safely

Completing accurate job and incident reports, inspection forms, and asset records

Supporting your crew with day-to-day leadership, communication, and on-the-job guidance

Experience

A current EWRB registration

A Class 1 and 2 driver's licence (Class 4 is a bonus)

Solid experience with overhead lines and exposure to underground networks

A great attitude and solid work ethic

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

The physical capability to handle the demands of the job
