We’re on the lookout for an experienced Line Mechanic to join our Energy Services team and help construct and maintain our overhead and underground electricity network. Role Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining overhead lines and underground networks (up to 33kV)
  • Replacing poles, conductors, and other key electrical components
  • Operating electrical equipment both on the ground and at height
  • Planning and executing job tasks efficiently and safely
  • Completing accurate job and incident reports, inspection forms, and asset records
  • Supporting your crew with day-to-day leadership, communication, and on-the-job guidance

Experience

  • A current EWRB registration
  • A Class 1 and 2 driver’s licence (Class 4 is a bonus)
  • Solid experience with overhead lines and exposure to underground networks
  • A great attitude and solid work ethic
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • The physical capability to handle the demands of the job
