You'll play a key role in helping learners develop essential communication skills—supporting their confidence, connection, and success both in school and beyond.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and create tailored communication plans
Provide direct intervention for a range of learner needs
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and whanau to embed communication strategies
Build strong relationships across school and community settings
Contribute your expertise within a highly collaborative, values-driven team.
What you'll bring
A recognised qualification in speech language therapy
NZSTA membership (or eligibility to register)
Full NZ driver's licence and access to a car (mileage reimbursed)
Cultural responsiveness, curiosity, and kindness
Experience with AAC or dysphagia is an advantage, not essential.
