The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore brings together physicists, computer scientists, and engineers to conduct basic research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum phenomena.
Experts in the emerging discipline of quantum technologies apply their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing.
CQT is hosted by the National University of Singapore and has staff at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Nanyang Technological University, and the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
With some 200 staff and students, it offers a friendly and international work environment.
Responsibilities
Lead the grant administration
Assist PIs in competitive grant applications; collate grant application documentation for submission to ODPRT
Collate necessary documentation for creation of WBS accounts when awarded
Assist PIs on variation requests for their grants
Track PIs on progress reporting, assist in gathering information for reports
Monitor CQT PIs / Fellows grants – analyse budget utilisation (alert PI on over / under spending), monitor headcounts, grant expiry reminders, etc.
Liaise with ODPRT and other parties on research collaboration agreements (RCAs), NDA, MOUs, or other agreements relating to research collaboration funded by grant
Perform any other administrative and logistical matters as required
Qualifications
Minimum degree holder
At least 5 years of relevant working experience
Meticulous, resourceful, and proactive
Excellent interpersonal skills with drive and independence
Proficiency in MS Office
