CARTERS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, customer-focused Account Manager to be part of our new Wanaka branch, planned for opening early 2026.
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated Account Manager to build customer partnerships within a new territory for CARTERS.
Our ideal candidate will have a trade or construction background in Account Management and will already be deeply rooted in the Wanaka community, with strong local connections and established relationships with residential builders, commercial construction contractors and developers.
Supported by the Branch Manager and Area Sales Manager, you will spend the majority of your time visiting building sites, identifying opportunities and understanding your customers' builds, offering solutions and anticipating what your customers need next. Your mission is to ensure CARTERS is front of mind for all key decision makers by adding value to their business and delivering on our sales promises.
You’ll have the autonomy and flexibility to manage a call cycle while also developing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure we provide complete solutions and packages for customers.
You will be heavily involved in the entire sales process collaborating with internal teams around stock availability, delivery times and pricing to ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved in a timely manner. You will also drive the sales process through Frame and Truss Manufacturing from estimates through to production.
