We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned compliance professional to join our Personal Banking Risk division as a Senior Manager Risk and Compliance.
This is a key leadership role within our Line 1 Compliance team, focused on supporting the Personal Banking division to meet its regulatory obligations and deliver better customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead and advise on compliance matters across the Personal Banking division, with a particular focus on CCCFA and other lending regulation.
Support new initiatives and BAU activity, manage regulatory projects, and provide expert guidance on regulator enquiries, audits, and thematic reviews.
Take ownership of complex risk and compliance issues and incidents, lead key projects, and help shape the implementation of new policies, procedures, and controls.
Work autonomously, challenge constructively, and contribute to the advancement of the risk and compliance capability within Personal Banking.
Qualifications
7–10 years' experience in banking, compliance, or legal roles, ideally with CCCFA expertise and a background in risk or regulatory environments.
Experience working in a regulatory body, legal or consulting firm would be highly regarded.
Strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation, and the ability to distil complex technical information into clear, actionable advice.
Resilient under pressure, proactive in identifying themes and risks, and passionate about driving continuous improvement.
