The opportunity

As a GCR - Corporate Tax Senior Consultant or Manager, your main objective is to achieve business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers, informing them of our scope of services and communicating how these services benefit their organizations.

EY GCR services help companies achieve their strategic objectives for outsourcing their compliance and reporting functions at a local, regional and global level.

This is a hybrid position based in Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) or Tauranga.

Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Your key responsibilities

Manage and coordinate tax compliance and tax advisory engagements

Develop budgets, determine resource requirements, and direct / monitor engagements

Oversee the compliance management process and adapt to challenges in the process

Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations and ensure exceptional client service

Skills and attributes for success

Minimum 5 years of business tax experience with a university degree; CA or similar certification is a plus but not required

Strong leadership, supervisory, analytical, and organizational skills with proven success managing complex assignments

Committed to learning in a tax technology environment and able to manage multiple projects with effective time prioritization
