Role Overview
Aptella is seeking a dynamic Service Centre Manager to lead our team in Rosedale. In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategic objectives of the Service Centre while building and empowering a high-performing team. With a focus on expertise, efficiency, and customer excellence, you will ensure the delivery of reliable, best-in-class service. Your leadership will inspire the team to exceed performance targets, champion Aptella’s strong safety culture, and provide exceptional support to both our customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, develop, and motivate the Service Centre team to deliver outstanding service and repair turnaround.
- Ensure company assets, test equipment, and tools are maintained and optimised.
- Manage spare parts inventory at effective levels.
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
- Achieve service targets including turnaround times, chargeable utilisation, and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
- Model safe behaviours and embed a culture of safety-first thinking.
- Identify, assess, and control hazards in your area of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with all Workplace Health & Safety legislation and Aptella policies.
- Encourage open communication on safety matters and promptly address hazards, incidents, or risks.
- Lead daily toolbox meetings and drive continuous safety awareness and improvement.
- Build a professional, customer-focused Service Centre team with the right skills and attitude.
- Implement structured training and development programs for technicians, including apprentices.
- Support career pathing and individual development plans.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and agile performance management.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers and senior leaders to align service centre outcomes with business objectives.
- Deliver relevant training to the team and promote system benefits and efficiencies.
- Lead improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and service delivery.
