In this pivotal role, you will lead the work defining the enterprise level business requirements that inform future state design, definition, and ongoing evolution of business operations and functional requirements for a specific business capability (business analysis, business process, or business rules) that underpin MSD's transformation programme.You will provide strategic leadership and direction across business analysis work in the MSD – services for the future programme domains to achieve a shared understanding of future-state requirements, transition states, and the operational and technical shifts required to implement MSD's target operating model.You will collaborate widely across transition state design activity and current state analysis of business products and services, ensuring integrated design activity that addresses the complex and unique challenges of designing future transition states to support service transformation.You will be a critical connector and influencer between strategic intent and operational execution, ensuring robust, high-quality design thinking drives and informs the transformation lifecycle.What we're looking for : Significant professional knowledge in the design and implementation of new initiatives within a large and complex organisationProven technical ability in the analysis, elicitation and definition of enterprise level design and business requirements management of a specific domain (business analysis, business process, or business rules)Significant experience working at a senior level in a dynamic large-scale programme or change delivery environmentAn experienced leader with a proven record of effectively leading teams in a complex and demanding environmentExperience developing and applying fit-for-purpose methodologies in large-scale delivery initiatives and driving collaborative practices and capabilitiesLeadership experience operating in an Agile environment underpinned by the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)Comprehensive experience at a senior level in the design and implementation of complex organisational and technical change, and knowledge of the machinery of governmentProven experience managing complex stakeholder engagements, including partner and inter-agency relationships, and excellent relationship building and stakeholder management at all levelsDemonstrated strategic leadership, preferably in a programme delivery or change implementation function, and excellent strategic thinking and analytical skillsAn understanding of equity issues and the Treaty of Waitangi, and the implications of these for the work of MSDOrganisational awareness coupled with political savvy to influence at all levels across a large multi-disciplinary organisationOpportunity to provide strategic leadership in a high-impact transformation programmeWork in a supportive, inclusive, and diverse environmentProfessional development and leadership opportunitiesApply now to lead the future of business capability design at MSD and make a meaningful difference for New Zealanders.
