We're seeking a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing business on a temporary assignment with potential to go permanent.

This role is perfect for someone ready to step in and make an immediate impact during a peak period.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing : Manage purchase orders, confirm delivery schedules, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials.

Data Entry & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of transactions, procurement details, and new item creation in ERP systems.

Supplier Coordination : Liaise with suppliers and vendors to confirm orders, negotiate delivery terms, and resolve supply chain disruptions.

Price Negotiations : Conduct supplier price negotiations to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.

Freight Arrangements : Organise freight and logistics solutions, collaborating with carriers to optimise delivery routes and costs.

Email Management : Prioritise and manage high-volume correspondence with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams for smooth communication.

Compliance : Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining documentation for audits and reviews.

About You

Experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.

Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Immediately available and ready to hit the ground running.
