The role of a Support Worker involves providing assistance to individuals to develop their independence and daily living skills. This includes helping with activities such as public transportation, employment support, finances, and meal preparation. Depending on the work environment, support may also include help with shopping, cleaning, personal care (e.g., showers), and medication administration.

No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a positive attitude and a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker are highly valued. Full training and orientation will be provided to applicants who demonstrate enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
