NZCR is at the forefront of early-phase clinical research in New Zealand. With over 35 years of combined research excellence, NZCR has completed 750 trials involving 15,000 participants. The Role
This role is Fixed Term for 6 months. Key responsibilities include :
Perform study-related clinical activities (e.g., venepuncture, ECGs, monitor vital signs, and other specialised nursing procedures as appropriate to the study and subjects).
Ensure biological samples are collected and processed as required by the study protocol and NZCR SOPs.Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned (e.g., collation of study documents, faxing and photocopying of study documents, preparation of blood collection tubes).Ensure the safety and rights of the study participant are protected at all times.Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and in accordance with the study protocol and ICH / GCP guidelines.ResearchEducate clinical study participants about the study requirements according to the protocol.
Support study participants who choose to participate by providing advice, information, and advocacy.Assess the study participant prior to trial treatment, monitor during treatment, and follow up on completion as required by the protocol.Record and report any adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) that occur during treatment in the clinical trial.Skills and Experience
You must be a dedicated NZ Registered nurse.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Venepuncture and IV certification experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.Excellent clinical practice skills.Good organisational skills and ability to manage timeframes.Experience as a Research Nurse is beneficial but not essential.Additional Information
