HSE Specialist

Overview

Graymont, a global leader in lime and limestone solutions, is seeking a passionate and driven Lead HSE Specialist based in Ōtorohanga and other New Zealand sites. This is a site-based HSE leadership role to drive improved performance, implement Graymont’s health, safety, and environmental requirements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement HSE initiatives for continuous improvement
• Empower teams through training, auditing, and risk management
• Serve as the site HSE expert for systems and process improvements
• Manage incident reporting (ICAM) and corrective actions
• Support injury management and return-to-work programs
• Liaise with regulatory and community stakeholders
• Ability to work autonomously and influence others to achieve positive HSE outcomes
