About The Role
As a Grounds and Gardens Technician, you will deliver reactive, project, and planned maintenance services at the Waikeria Prison site. Your focus will be on the proactive preventative maintenance of the sand-based rugby field, including irrigation, mowing, top dressing, fertilisation, and weed treatment. You will also manage the collection and transportation of rubbish bins within the secure facility, maintain indoor plants around the office facilities, and coordinate with the prisoner employment manager to ensure internal grassed areas and garden beds are maintained to the required standard.
