Mōte tūranga - About the role
As a Technology Legacy Analyst, the analyst brings a thoughtful and curious mindset to understanding and supporting ANZ’s legacy applications. This includes working with older technologies such as mainframes, COBOL, and traditional databases, ensuring they remain secure, reliable, and high-performing during transition planning.
Key contributions include :
Conductingtechnical analysisto uncover constraints and identify opportunities for improvement.
Understandingarchitecture and data flowsto support seamless integration with modern platforms.
Collaborating withinfrastructure, security, and data teamsto plan and execute safe, strategic decommissioning.
Supportingmigration effortsto cloud-native and SaaS platforms, including post-migration validation.
Translating business and technical requirements into actionable outcomes, while mentoring others in a collaborative environment.
This capability plays a critical role in enabling transformation while maintaining operational integrity across legacy environments.

Hours : 37.5 hours per week
