The Role

Tech Area Lead - Core Tribe

As Tech Area Lead, you\'ll drive the delivery of strategic technology outcomes across the Tribe, ensuring alignment with the broader technology roadmap. You\'ll provide both technical and people leadership, acting as a key escalation point for engineering, architecture, and security challenges. Through strategic collaboration and talent development, you\'ll ensure the Tribe is equipped to deliver exceptional customer and business value.

Key Accountabilities

• Shape and deliver the technology roadmap in partnership with the Tribe Tech Lead
• Provide technical and people leadership to Chapter Leads, enabling teams to deliver greater customer and business value
• Drive engineering uplift and best practice across the Tribe
• Act as a strategic collaborator to Tribe Tech Lead and Chapter Leads to achieve Tribe goals
• Partner with the CXL to ensure smooth technology delivery
• Serve as the escalation point for engineering, architecture, and security challenges
• Champion employee experience and foster a positive, inclusive culture
• Develop and support learning opportunities, building a safe environment for continuous growth
• Manage risks and dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure effective controls
• Lead initiatives to attract, retain, and grow top engineering talent
