As Tech Area Lead, you'll drive the delivery of strategic technology outcomes across the Tribe, ensuring alignment with the broader technology roadmap.
You'll provide both technical and people leadership, acting as a key escalation point for engineering, architecture, and security challenges.
Through strategic collaboration and talent development, you'll ensure the Tribe is equipped to deliver exceptional customer and business value.
Key accountabilities
Shape and deliver the technology roadmap in partnership with the Tribe Tech Lead
Provide technical and people leadership to Chapter Leads, enabling teams to deliver greater customer and business value
Drive engineering uplift and best practice across the Tribe
Act as a strategic collaborator to Tribe Tech Lead and Chapter Leads to achieve Tribe goals
Partner with the CXL to ensure smooth technology delivery
Serve as the escalation point for engineering, architecture, and security challenges
Champion employee experience and foster a positive, inclusive culture
Develop and support learning opportunities, building a safe environment for continuous growth
Manage risks and dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure effective controls
Lead initiatives to attract, retain, and grow top engineering talent
You'll be responsible for
Delivering technology outcomes as detailed in the technology roadmap
Uplifting engineering excellence and ensuring compliance with technology and cyber guardrails
Supporting delivery of business and technology outcomes with minimal disruption
Leading or supporting incident response and resolving technology delivery bottlenecks
Escalating technology challenges with solutions, as appropriate
Ensuring Tribe technology systems meet standards and controls, and continually uplifting engineering craft
Maintaining a healthy, engaged, and effectively resourced engineering workforce
You're a strategic technology leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for developing people and culture.
You bring :
Deep knowledge of software development, systems architecture, infrastructure, and engineering practices
Relevant domain experience and proficiency in the Tribe's technologies and platforms
Strong understanding of technology engineering best practices and industry standards
Proven ability to help team members grow their technical skills and foster a culture of learning, improvement, and engagement
Excellent communication skills to inform, motivate, inspire, align, and influence team members and stakeholders
