We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to join our growing team. This role is crucial to ensuring that our business data is well-managed, accurate, and insightful, enabling smarter decisions across design, production, and client service. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and analysing company data to support business operations and strategic decision-making. The role ensures data integrity, optimises database performance, and provides insights to improve efficiency across production, sales, and customer service functions. This is a permanent full time position and you will be required to work at least 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Database Management
- Design, implement, and maintain company databases.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Monitor database performance and optimise queries.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, clean, and analyse operational and business data.Prepare regular performance reports for management.Create dashboards and visualisations to support business insights.Provide ad-hoc analysis for projects and decision-making.Business Support & Development
Collaborate with departments (production, sales, accounts) to identify data needs.Support system integrations with ERP, CRM, and other software.Recommend improvements to data processes and workflows.Assist in digital transformation initiatives.Compliance & Security
Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.Monitor database access and maintain user permissions.Maintain documentation of database structures and processes.Key Skills & Competencies
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.Experience in a database analyst, administrator, or similar role is preferred.Knowledge of ERP or CRM systemsStrong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.Ability to translate technical information into business language.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
