Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

Sanford is currently on a turnaround journey and has a drive and focus on continuous improvement, which includes our business processes and technology. To ensure our teams get the necessary insights to help make business decisions faster, Sanford is looking for a BI Analyst to enable professional reports and dashboards which will benefit teams and employees at all levels. The BI Analyst will work closely with the Data Engineer and business / data analysts across the business to achieve reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills being able to take stakeholders through the data "story" explaining the context of key insights
• SQL programming and Python experience
• Expert knowledge and experience in Power BI or other BI tools to visualise data
• Ability to design and maintain semantic models
• Experience consuming data from various sources such as SQL databases, flat files, APIs and webhooks
• Experience with end-to-end supply chain is desirable.
