We are particularly interested in candidates whose research programmes complement those in the Innovation and Strategy disciplinary area with fresh perspectives on how businesses can adapt, innovate, and create long-term value.Areas of particular interestHow emerging technologies (e.g. generative AI) shape / reshape innovation processes and ecosystems - with particular attention to their implications for strategic decision-making under uncertainty, organisational learning, and resilience in business and society.Sustainable and responsible innovation research in the context of technological change - including digital transformation, circular economy models, and strategies that address societal challenges and ensure equitable outcomes.We value candidates whose research has potential for both academic and societal impact.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the potential to publish in top generalist and / or specialist disciplinary journals as part of a balanced publication portfolio.

The successful candidate will demonstrate at least some of the core teaching capabilities at the undergraduate and / or postgraduate level.
Teaching innovation in ways that integrate it with related disciplines and / or strategic themes prioritised at the Faculty of Business and Economics (strategic themes) is advantageous too.This is a fulltime (40 hours per week), permanent position.The remuneration range for this role is between $97,831 - $119,204 NZD, depending on the level of appointment.
