Overview
We\'re seeking an exceptional Account Director to join our senior leadership team, reporting directly to our Managing Partners. This strategic leadership position is ideal for accomplished digital account management professionals ready to step into senior leadership with broader responsibility across digital & traditional media, advertising technology, customer data strategy, marketing technology and omni-channel orchestration.
You\'ll lead client relationships while orchestrating complex, data-driven campaigns spanning traditional media, digital advertising, marketing automation, and customer data platforms. Your proficiency with AI tools, deep understanding of advertising & marketing technology, and ability to architect customer data flows and journeys will drive client success.
What You\'ll Do
- Strategic Client Leadership : Act as trusted advisor guiding clients through customer data strategy, omni-channel orchestration, and integrated planning. Present data-driven insights and campaign performance to C-suite executives, demonstrating measurable business impact.
- Digital Media, Advertising & AdTech : Lead strategy and execution of integrated campaigns across digital and traditional media. Oversee programmatic advertising, social media, search marketing, and display while managing advertising technology platforms including DSPs and attribution tools. Optimise media spend based on data-driven insights.
- Traditional Media : Lead strategy and execution of direct traditional media campaigns (TV, radio, print, OOH) with end-to-end campaign delivery from brief through analysis, integrating seamlessly with digital channels.
- Marketing Technology & Data Strategy : Oversee marketing automation to connect customer data to personalised campaigns. Ensure proper data flow between CDPs, marketing automation, advertising platforms, and analytics tools. Develop measurement frameworks proving effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Team Management : Direct teams including account management, media strategists, data specialists, martech experts, creative professionals, and advertising specialists. Mentor team members, fostering data literacy and technical excellence.
- Project & Resource Management : Oversee complex timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Implement efficient workflows balancing media planning, technical execution, and creative development. Proactively identify and resolve project risks.
- Business Development : Identify expansion opportunities through deeper data unification and channel orchestration. Contribute to new business pitches with strategic thinking and technical credibility.
What You Bring
7+ years in agency / consultancy with progressive leadership in client-facing rolesMinimum 3+ years digital account management with proven campaign successActive AI tool proficiency (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) - mandatory requirementDeep understanding of advertising technology (DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, attribution platforms)Experience with traditional media planning (TV, radio, print, OOH)Proven ability executing integrated campaigns spanning traditional and digital mediaUnderstanding of Marketing automation platforms and experience (e.g HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze)Omni-channel campaign strategy leveraging unified customer data, media and automationAnalytics platforms, data integration, and measurement framework knowledgeStrong project management with production flow and resource allocation experienceTechnical Acumen :
