About The Team
The Training & Learning team, within the Sector Workforce Development Group, is accountable for delivering our training programmes through pedagogical excellence. By developing and implementing best practices in teaching methodologies, providing professional development for trainers, and ensuring a learner-centred approach, the team fosters an engaging and effective learning environment.
The drive for continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices ensures that Transpower employees and service provider staff are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles and contribute to the safety and reliability of the National Grid. About The Opportunity - Due To Internal Promotion
In this role, based in Christchurch, Wellington, or Palmerston North, you'll lead and manage a permanent team of five, along with around 20 subject matter experts contracted as trainers, while overseeing the delivery of essential training programmes that build capability and ensure the safety of the electricity transmission workforce.
Managing training operations across multiple sites, you'll provide strategic direction, lead operational delivery, and work closely with our Technical Training team and our Service Providers. With no two days the same you will :
