About the role
As an Agility Coach at NZ Post, you\'ll help our operational business unit become more adaptive and responsive to change—embedding ways of working that fit our context and deliver real results.
You\'ll work closely with senior leaders and the executive team to influence mindsets, guide behaviour change, and support the consistent application of agile methodologies in a way that\'s practical, fit-for-purpose, and impactful.
You\'ll Do This By
Educating stakeholders to create stronger alignment between teams and business functions
Coaching and mentoring Scrum Masters, senior leaders, and some of our executive team to improve delivery practices and performance
Leading organisational health assessments and identifying targeted improvement opportunities
Facilitating workshops and retrospectives to remove barriers and build better ways of working
Helping establish shared metrics to foster consistency, collaboration, and performance
Creating transparency and supporting the removal of systemic impediments
About You
You\'re experienced in Agile delivery, with a deep understanding of how to apply agile ways of working pragmatically in a large, complex organisation—especially within an operational context.
You\'ve worked closely with senior leadership teams, guiding them through change while tailoring your coaching to suit the realities of the business.
What You\'ll Also Bring
Proven experience coaching at senior leadership and executive levels
Practical knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and when / how to apply them effectively
Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills
A collaborative, down-to-earth style that makes you approachable and trusted
Experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or Agile Project Manager
Professional Agile certifications (e.g. CSP, PSM, Certified Agile Coach) are a plus, but not essential
