Mo Te Turanga - About The Role

The Banking Consultant role in our Personal Banking portfolio, will be critical to making this happen.

You would :

Provide exceptional customer experience, meeting the needs of customers across the Retail product set, excluding Home Lending.

Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value.

Conduct basic analysis of financial information relating to consumer lending.

Actively participate in and support bank programmes and initiatives.

Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Take responsibility to 'know your customer' from a risk perspective.

Demonstrate living the ANZ Values with customers and colleagues.

Role Location : Manukau Mall - Te Moro o Manukau

Role Type : Part-time, Permanent Opportunity

Work Schedule : 22.5 hours

Saturday - 11 : 00am to 4 : 30pm (6.5 hrs)

Tuesday - 10 : 00am to 3 : 00pm (5 hrs)

Wednesday - 11 : 00am to 4 : 00pm (5 hrs)

Friday - 12pm to 6 : 00pm (6 hrs)

• What will your day look like?

As a Banking Consultant / Personal Banker, you will have the opportunity to :

Provide our customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting each customer's end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, needs-based conversations and educating them on digital solutions.

Be part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.

Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :

Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage

Experience in being a user and promoter of technology - working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage

Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity

Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment

Sound understanding of compliance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in one or more Asian languages—such as Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or similar—is preferred to support our diverse client base.

You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
