Healthcare Assistant - Outpatients
London – The Wellington Hospital / Platinum Medical Centre,
Full time : 37.5 hours per week
Shifts : Mon-Fri (The unit is open 8 am-8 pm and flexibility is required to cover these hours)

The Platinum Medical Centre is recruiting a healthcare assistant to work in the outpatients Department.
The PMC is the largest private diagnostic and outpatient centre in the country and will serve 70,000 outpatients every year.
The PMC houses an extensive state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging centre, complete with seven floors of 50 consulting rooms, four day-surgery theatres, and a 12-bedded day-surgery unit.
As the Healthcare Assistant under the direction of the registered nurse, you will carry out observations, investigations and basic treatments as required.
You will also oversee chaperoning of patients and assist medical staff with day-to-day duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities to include but are not limited to :
Ordering and maintaining stock
Chaperoning consultants
Chaperoning radiologist and assisting with breast biopsies in the ultrasound room
Chaperoning and assisting in all procedures as required
Supporting administrative functions
Preparing clinics
Cleaning and daily checklists for department
Supporting departmental audit

Phlebotomy essential
Previous Healthcare Assistant experience within a hospital setting is essential
