We work together with a number of key organisations as part of a community-wide approach to end homelessness.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00pm, based in Manukau working across South Auckland.
You’ll be working within the Housing First service—a wrap-around, community-based housing initiative focused on transition, recovery, and wellness. This service empowers kiritaki and their whānau to build the capacity to live well, with a strong emphasis on holistic support.
In this role, you’ll support individuals with high and complex needs and co-existing problems, many of whom face intergenerational challenges, mental health issues, addiction, and trauma. Your work will be grounded in the Housing First philosophy, helping people find and sustain stable housing in the community. This role will offer guidance within the team(s), you will need to be confident supporting and working alongside non-clinical and clinical staff, and provide oversight into high quality support planning, crisis and risk management and documentation utilizing your knowledge and skills in mental health.

We’d love to hear from registered Mental Health Nurses with a current practicing certificate, a range of experience in the mental health and social sectors and particularly (but not necessarily) with experience in housing and residential recovery services. Ideally, you will have :
