Job descriptionDeliver comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for patients in a correctional setting. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and facility protocols. Respond effectively to medical emergencies and manage patients with acute and chronic health needs. Promote health education and preventive care tailored to the correctional population. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical officers, mental health professionals, and custodial staff. Uphold infection control standards, safety protocols, and ethical nursing practices. AHPRA Registered Nurse (Division 1) – essential Full working rights in Australia – essential Minimum 3 years’ clinical nursing experience Previous experience in Correctional / Prison Health – highly regarded Willingness to support workforce needs in correctional settings
