Youth Hub Learning Support - Hamilton

In this role, you'll be providing one-on-one tutoring to secondary school students working on their NCEA-related homework and assignments.

Your focus will be on helping students improve their skills in key subjects such as English, Math, and Science.

You'll be supporting students from diverse backgrounds, including Congo, Somalia, Colombia, Afghanistan, Syria, and Pakistan.What You'll Be Doing : Provide tutoring on Mondays and Fridays, focusing on subjects such as English, Math, and Science.Work closely with students to boost engagement and academic performance.Help reduce dropout rates by building student confidence and a love for learning.Make a positive impact on the local community by supporting newly migrated students.What You'll Achieve : Improve students' academic performance and boost their confidence.Be part of a program that focuses on high engagement, academic growth, and community empowermentGain valuable experience and develop your tutoring and communication skills.Help shape the future of students by giving them the tools to succeed.After 3 months volunteering, we will happily provide you with a reference to help with future job, scholarship, or study applications.Join us and make a real difference in the lives of students while helping build a more equitable world!
