OverviewAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced teacher to lead the subject of DANCE (Full-time, permanent, start Term 1 2026) in the Performing Arts Department (Teacher in Charge of Dance).
The ability to potentially also teach Drama and / or Music could be an advantage.

ResponsibilitiesLead the Dance curriculum, including NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship Dance.Take responsibility for the curricular and co-curricular side of Dance and contribute to the extracurricular programme.The successful applicant will lead the subject and collaborate with the Performing Arts leadership team.The ability to potentially teach Drama and / or Music could be an advantage.
QualificationsExperience with NCEA and the qualifications framework.Confident Dance teacher with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Remuneration & ConditionsContract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers\' Collective Agreement (CA), as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education.
Annual remuneration is between $61,329.00 and $103,086.00 per annum plus allowances as above.
Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
