You'll play an integral role in leading the execution of financial due diligence projects across both buy-side and sell-side transactions, while contributing to the ongoing growth of the business.This strategic leadership position blends Transaction Services, M&A and Valuations, offering full lifecycle client engagement and team management.
You'll be part of a rapidly expanding nationwide Deals & Financing team, at the forefront of leading infrastructure projects and M&A transactions.As part of the national Corporate Finance team, you'll support NZ and cross-Tasman transactions, collaborating with corporate investors, private equity firms and finance providers; gaining rich exposure to deal-making and industry insights.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver buy-side and vendor financial due diligence assignments.Manage M&A engagements across sell-side and buy-side mandates.Oversee business and asset valuations, including complex modelling (DCF, 3-way integrated models).
Collaborate across advisory, audit, and transaction teams to deliver cohesive deal solutions.Guide, mentor and coach team members to foster technical and professional development.Key Skills and Experience4+ years' post-qualification experience in Transaction Services, Valuations, Deals Advisory or related Corporate Finance fields.Ideally CA, CPA, or CFA qualified with strong technical accounting and financial modelling skills.Prior experience in a Big 4, Mid-market or investment bank is preferred.Strong commercial acumen and proven client / stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and deliver under pressure.Ideal for returning Kiwis or those seeking to accelerate their corporate finance career in a dynamic high performing environment.Join a growing team that's shaping the future of deal making, apply now and take your next big step in Corporate Finance.
