Due to continued growth in our financial services practice, our Auckland-based team is seeking expressions of interest from lawyers with 3+ PQE to work within the team on a wide range of significant financial sector matters for prestigious local and international clients. Ideally you will have local experience, with some experience or exposure to financial services, investment funds, securities law or KiwiSaver (but this is not necessary). A general corporate, commercial litigation, finance or tax background is also suitable.

This role is suitable for candidates who are enthusiastic about working in the financial services sector, and would enjoy developing long-term client relationships and providing thoughtful and commercial consulting advice.

Responsibilities

• Work within the financial services team on a wide range of significant matters for prestigious local and international clients.
• Develop long-term client relationships and provide thoughtful, commercial consulting advice.
• Collaborate with two of New Zealand's leading financial services partners on conduct laws, investment product development, regulatory change, investigations, and financial adviser and insurance laws.
