Senior Markets Financial Analyst

Overview

Responsibilities

Accurately calculate and report daily P&L, including trading balance sheet reconciliations

Analyse P&L movements with detailed breakdowns and clear commentary

Monitor trading activity for compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

Ensure integrity of trade-level data for regulatory, financial, and management reporting

Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Identify product issues and recommend solutions

Support investigations, system improvements, and other ad hoc projects

Prepare financial reports for audit purposes

Follow company policies and uphold high standards of integrity and client service

Key Skills / Qualifications

Accounting Qualification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Analytical mindset with high attention to detail

Good knowledge of financial products across asset classes

Understanding of data flows and trading system processes

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines & adaptable to change and fast-paced environments

Solid understanding of financial markets and trading products
