Senior Analyst

OverviewBDO Auckland's Deal Advisory team is seeking a high-performing Senior Analyst to join our growing Deals Advisory practice.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with private equity firms, corporate clients and business owners to help them achieve their strategic growth and exit objectives.This role is based in our Auckland CBD office, 8.30am – 5.00pm, maximum of 37.5hrs per week, Monday – Friday.

The salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $115,000 plus benefits and relocation allowance.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver quantitative engagements such as model reviews, market risk services and regulatory assessmentsGuide team members on financial modelling and valuation techniques aligned with market best practicesWork closely with clients and audit teams to ensure efficient engagement deliveryReview team members' work and reports to maintain high-quality outputsAnalyse and compile financial data into usable formats, identify trends, and resolve issuesDraft due diligence, valuation, and independent accountant reportsConduct research to support M&A, valuation, and review assignmentsBuild or review models for forecasting, feasibility, and valuation purposes, including NPV and IRR calculationsManage tools like template libraries and transaction registersMeet with clients to understand modelling requirements and interpret forecast assumptionsExperienceWe are looking for someone who is experienced, has strong commercial acumen and looking for career growth with : Minimum 5 years of CF / valuation experienceBachelors Degree in Accounting and / or FinanceQualified CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent qualificationStrong written and oral skills in EnglishConfident, commercially savvy, innovative, detail-orientedThrive under pressureWhy BDO?
