T&G Hintons is looking for a Packhouse Operations Supervisor to support and oversee the daily operations of our cherry and stone fruit packhouse facility.This is a varied role that combines hands on operational problem solving, forklift operation, and involvement in orchard activities during the off-season.About the roleIn this key role, you will : Support the day to day operations in our cherry packhouse machinery roomOversee inventory and manage storage of packed fruit, field bins, and packaging suppliesSupport orchard operations during the off season, including machinery work and seasonal tasksLead by example on all health and safety matters and train seasonal staff appropriatelySupport the Operations Manager in the mechanical and operational running of the cherry packing shedSupport the General Manager to coordinate dispatch, ensuring correct labelling, load planning, and communication with freight providerAct as a competent forklift operator for packhouse movements including loading and unloadingAbout youStrong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skillsPrevious packhouse or dispatch experience is desired but not essentialProven experience in a fast-paced operational environmentForklift licence and experienceExcellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate logisticsA positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work with and train a diverse range of seasonal staffApply nowJoin a passionate team and help keep T&G Hinton's Orchard growing strong - apply today!
