To provide the best value for our clients we need the best people out there delivering the work. We're seeking an experienced civil machine operator to join our civil team based out of Alexandra. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of construction machinery and equipment to support the company's civil projects along side rolling your sleeves up and helping your team mates on the ground with various other civil construction tasks.
In addition to the above you will :
Safely operate and manoeuvre construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, graders, skid steers and compaction rollers to carry out earthworks, trenching, general excavation, slinging and lifting, trimming and other site preparation tasks
Perform routine maintenance and pre-start checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety
Adhere to all health and safety, environmental and quality regulations and site procedures

We're
looking for someone with :
Current Class 2 licence, 4 is preferable
WTR Endorsements
A keen eye for detail, coupled with the ability to accurately assess and resolve issues arising from complex and variable ground conditions, as well as both known and unknown services, in a timely and effective manner.
A background in the civil industry is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
Various skill set in machinery operations ideally specialising in digger work.
Willing to learn and up skill with good supportive training.
Possess an excellent, can-do attitude and be willing to go the extra mile.
Willing to work part of a team but also the ability to work unsupervised when required
