Are you an experienced construction professional with a proven track record in managing commercial sites?
We're on the lookout for a Commercial Site Manager to take the reins on an exciting commercial build in Central Otago.
As the
Site Manager
, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a commercial construction project, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to schedule.
You'll work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and our internal teams to keep the project on track and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate daily site operations.
Manage and lead on-site staff and subcontractors.
Monitor and report on build progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Ensure health & safety compliance across the site.
Liaise with the project manager and stakeholders to maintain clear communication.
Proactively manage site logistics and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
About You
Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial builds or an experienced commercial foreperson with leadership experience.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
In-depth understanding of NZ building codes and health & safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and schedules.
Comfortable using reporting tools and project management software.
