OverviewData Engineer (1 year contract) (Up to $7000)Job Title : Data Engineer (1 year contract) (ID1623)Location : Buona VistaWorking Hour : Mon to Fri, 9am-6pmBasic Salary : $6000 - $7000ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement data architecture, pipelines and ETL processes.Develop and maintain data platform, dashboards to support analytics and reporting.Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across all data platforms.Develop and implement IAC and CICD to streamline and automate the deployment process.Collaborate with Business units, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.Provide L3 support for in-house development work and data platform / warehouse.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.At least 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.Proven experience in building data platforms in Cloud.Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.Hands-on experience with IAC and Cloud services such as terraform, BigQuery, Dataflow, Kafka and Pub / Sub will be a huge advantage.Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Interested applicants, who wish to apply for the advertised position.
