We’re looking for a detail-driven Network Inspector to join our team in Queenstown. This is a sought-after lifestyle role where you’ll spend your days out on the road network, ensuring everything is safe, up to standard, and well-maintained.
It’s a mid-management position that’s not labour-intensive — you’ll be driving most of the day, managing your own workload, and working with a great degree of independence.
The Role
As a Network Inspector, you’ll :
Inspect roads, signs, and corridor assets regularly
Spot and record faults using tablets / job management systems (AWM, Go Pro, etc.)
Mark, classify, and log defects with photos and details
Direct crews on site and check their work is done to a high standard
Keep accurate records and documentation
Respond to customer queries and help maintain strong relationships
What You’ll Need
Experience in road maintenance, civil, or similar inspection work
Knowledge of fault identification and treatment selection
Comfortable using tablets, AWM, and Go Pro (or similar)
Clear communication and strong relationship skills
Physically fit with a strong focus on Health & Safety
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to plan and problem solve
