The five regions are Auckland North, Auckland South, Central North Island, Lower North & Upper South and the Southern region.This is a key role in ensuring the Electoral Commission meets its quality assurance goals.You will support the Regional Manager and Regional Advisors by providing oversight of all training activity across the region and assisting with the delivery of that training to Electorate Managers, Recruitment & Rostering Managers and / or Logistic and Supplies Managers as well as delivering the training component at regional meetings.
You will assist with the selection of Area and Electorate Trainers.
You will train Area Trainers and assist with the development of their training schedules.
You will also assess them while they conduct their training sessions to ensure training standards are met, as well as assess that Electorate Trainers understand the training they receive.
You will also assist the Regional Advisor in preparing the post-election training schedule and delivering the Post Election training where appropriate.Some travel around the Region and to the National Office in Wellington will be required.The pay rate for this role is : $
This is a 2 hour a week casual role
You possess strong planning and organisational skills, and you thrive on learning quickly in dynamic environments.You will have previous elections and training delivery experience, and you will be able to demonstrate previous experience :
