About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse and Distribution Manager to lead and manage Warehouse and Distribution operations across our Auckland bakery at Otahuhu.

This newly introduced role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to shape and define their own pathways within the business.

The successful candidate will oversee the efficient operation of our bakery's warehouse and distribution processes, ensuring that our products are stored, handled, and distributed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

The Warehouse and Distribution Manager has 2-3 direct reports; indirect reports are made up of the Dispatch and Inwards Goods teams, and shared contractor management accountabilities for third-party transport contractors.

Key Accountabilities

Lead and manage bakery warehouse and distribution operations.

Ensure timely and cost-effective storage, handling, and distribution of products.

Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Develop frontline leadership capabilities.

Provide 24 / 7 coverage for distribution issues.

Support team training and relationship management.

You have proven experience in warehouse and distribution management, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.

You possess in-depth knowledge of safety and quality standards in warehouse operations, ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
