We're now seeking a proactive, hands-on Logistics Manager to lead our logistics operations and
distribution centre team. You'll bring solid experience across logistics, international shipping, and
supply chain management, along with the leadership skills to motivate a high-performing,
predominantly female workforce.

About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day flow of goods from vendor to
distribution centre to customer, ensuring every movement is efficient, accurate, and safe. You'll also
play a key role in optimizing our automated distribution centre and driving continuous improvement
initiatives across logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Logistics
- Manage end-to-end freight movement, both domestic and international, ensuring timely and
cost-effective delivery.
Work closely with freight providers and shipping schedules to optimise transport and resolvedelivery delays.
Act as the WMS superuser - driving best practice, supporting enhancements, and ensuringoperational accuracy (experience with NetSuite WMS is highly regarded).
Leadership & People
Lead and inspire a team of 5 direct and around 20 indirect reports.Foster collaboration, accountability, and professional growth across the DC team.Set performance targets, conduct evaluations, and ensure ongoing training anddevelopment.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure all logistics and DC operations comply with H&S regulations and company standards.Promote a safety-first culture throughout the distribution centre.Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Analyse logistics data and report on key KPIs such as delivery times, cost per shipment, andorder accuracy.
Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.Support the optimisation of automation and conveyor systems within the DC.What You'll Bring
A strong logistics background with commercial acumen and hands-on experience ininternational import / export processes and documentation.
At least 3-5 years' leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution centremanagement.
Proven ability to lead by example - you're operationally focused and not afraid to get stuckin.
Solid experience working with WMS systems (NetSuite highly regarded).A problem-solving mindset and a drive for process improvement.Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.Exposure to automation or conveyor systems in a DC environment is an advantage.Why Join Bendon?
