Key Purpose
The role is to execute the Tier 1 Logistics strategy, understand deviations and realign where necessary, ensure T1 Logistics Key Performance Indicators support service levels to Sales, control and manage Variable Logistics Costs, and implement and support the Distribution Plant Optimization program.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Define and control the Finished Goods and Returnable Container plan for production to enable service level performance against target.
Support production performance and execution against the production plan; reduce downtime caused by logistics.
Understand and manage FG warehouse capacities to ensure efficient space utilization.
Maintain a safe working environment with 0 Lost Time Injuries in warehouse operations.
Manage all Tier 1 warehouse-related KPIs to drive warehouse productivity.
Manage SCOH to a minimum waste measure.
Reduce stock age write-offs and stock count variances.
Define Tier 1 transportation requirements for movement of raw materials and finished goods; adjust fleet sizing to meet demand.
Manage performance against the Tier 1 transportation and inventory deployment plan to achieve 100% Load Plan attainment.
Implement and support DPO qualification in dry sites and VPO qualification in manufacturing sites; serves as a Subject Matter Expert in DPO.
Ensure execution of Tier 1 and FGCP against regional sales plans; provide feedback if there is an out-of-stock condition.
Regional DPO Warehouse Pillar Owner (weekly DPO routines with Warehouse Teams).
Warehouse VLC Finance Management and Problem Solving; implement Warehouse Management Pillar Tools within warehouse space.
Direct line management : 1 Regional Demand Analyst responsible for inventory policy management; forecast accuracy; alignment of SKU volume by pack type per month with District Managers; Regional DPO Planning Pillar Owner.
Coordinate Warehouse Regional Monthly Routines (Monthly Brewery Meeting; Monthly Quality Meeting).

Minimum Requirements
3 year relevant diploma / degree.
2 years management experience, preferably in Logistics or Supply.
Distribution Plant Optimization programme experience.
Warehouse and stock experience advantageous.
High level IT user (MS Office, Oasis, handheld devices).
SAP proficient.
