About the Role :

This is a full-time position based in Auckland, with a minimum of 30 hoursof work per week.

Role Requirements :

Valid Class 5 driver’s license or able to obtain one.

Ability to work fl exible hours, including early mornings shift s.

Driving Experience of 1 year or more preferred.

Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role.

Clean driving record.

Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and criminalrecor reference checks.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate Class 4 / 5 vehicles to transport goods as assigned.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are inoptimal

condition.

Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Carryout daily vehicle inspections encompassing mechanical, safetyand emergency equipment

Ensure Road User Charges (RUC), Registration and COF are up to date

Complete logbook accurately and in a timely manner

Ensure truck is loaded appropriately and materials recorded correctly

Ensure all loads are secured appropriately

Ensure all loads comply with height, weight and width specifi cations

Always travel within speed limits having consideration for roadconditions, other road users, weather, cargo, signage, and the environment

Always drive in a courteous manner

Report any traffi c infringements immediately to your supervisor ormanager

Report any incidents, damage or accidents immediately as per company requirements

Competently care for equipment ensuring truck is kept clean and wellpresented

Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate eff ectively withthe dispatch team
