We are a small culturally diverse school, with our learners at the heart of all that we do. We have strived to build strong foundations over the years resulting in an inclusive learning environment, where children learn a diverse curriculum and are passionate about our school values of Co‑operation, Achievement, Respect and Encouragement. We pride ourselves in being a family‑orientated school, where everyone has a strong sense of belonging, as well as a feeling of being safe and cared for.
We have an exciting opportunity for a New Zealand registered caring, organised, passionate, collaborative and enthusiastic teacher, committed to raising student achievement, to be employed in a fixed term full‑time position in the middle part of the school for 2026. Strengths in the New Zealand Curriculum, Structured Literacy, Numeracy and Behaviour Management Strategies are essential, as well as being able to show effective use of digital technologies (in a Google Classroom), the ability to engage learners across the curriculum and be able to develop positive relationships with children, parents / caregivers and staff. You must also have a willingness to contribute to the extra‑curricular life of our school.
We expect our teachers to be passionate about their own learning, as we are a school that is committed to growing our teachers to be the best they can be, and we provide professional development that allows our teachers to shine.
If this is you, email Sandi Abel and ask for our application package at or come and have a look at our wonderful school and meet our people and see what we do.
Suitable for beginning teachers.
