We are seeking a passionate educator to join our Pīwakawaka Team (New Entrants) in 2026. With 26 classrooms, a flourishing Māori Medium pathway, and a deep commitment to inclusive, evidence-based practices, our kura provides exceptional teaching and learning for tamariki at every stage of their journey.

Responsibilities

• Has expertise or strong interest in new entrants / transition to school.
• Understands neurodiversity and uses strategies to ensure all learners feel safe and supported.
• Embraces consistency in teaching to promote equity for all tamariki.
• Values shared routines, scaffolds, and explicit instruction to build firm foundations.
• Is open to unlearning and relearning as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
• Believes that clarity, structure, and repetition help every learner thrive.
