You will apply the Learn-Create-Share pedagogy, leveraging digital technology (Chromebooks and class sites / blogs) to empower students to access learning anywhere, anytime, and at any pace.

We are committed to and are implementing effective teaching practices including Structured Literacy and the iDeaL approach (in partnership with Learning Matters) and implementing the new maths curriculum using explicit teaching and Oxford University Press Resources. We offer strong support for your pedagogical innovation and research-based professional growth.

About you

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, committed teacher who :

• Can confidently integrate the Catholic faith and special character into all aspects of school (Virtues programme, RE, prayer, and the Sacraments).
• Is able to teach and nurture students in a senior class setting, fostering high standards of personal integrity and a strong concern for others.
• Has experience or a strong desire to embrace our Learn-Create-Share pedagogy within the Manaiakalani framework and confidently use a digital platform.
• Is committed to professional growth and strives to deliver excellence using a structured and explicit approach.
• Is committed to building strong relationships with students, staff, and whānau.
