• Ōtara Pool and Leisure Centre is located in the heart of Ōtara. As our Lead Lifeguard, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers.
• Your main responsibilities include :
• Providing guidance and support for aquatics-based programmes;
• Performing general lifeguarding duties to ensure customer safety; and
• Supporting the Team Leader with daily operations at the Centre.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The centre operates 7 days a week, so reliability and willingness to work early, late, and weekend shifts are essential.

About You

You should have a passion for aquatics and enjoy sharing your knowledge to enhance water safety. Excellent communication skills, a commitment to delivering quality aquatic programmes, and high customer service standards are important.

You will be a team player with a flexible approach, proactive in fostering a positive safety culture. Necessary qualifications include a current First Aid Certificate and a Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate. If these have expired, please discuss with us.

Pay rate : $27.27 / hr
