Job Description

JO&JOE is opening its new hostel in Auckland! And is looking for its next Night Manager. Come and write a page in the history of JO&JOE, by being part of the opening team! The Night Manager is the go-to person after dark, ensuring our guests feel safe, supported, and welcome throughout the night.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for guests overnight, handling check-ins, check-outs, and late-night queries with a smile.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the property during the night shift.
• Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or incidents, following established procedures.
• Oversee the cleanliness and readiness of public areas, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance as needed.
• Complete nightly audits, reports, and handovers for the morning team.
• Support the team and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere—no matter the hour.
• Uphold JO&JOE’s standards of service, hospitality, and community spirit at all times.
